These terms and conditions apply to your use of this website and to any signage or print work carried out by Amber Signs Berkhamsted Ltd, trading as Amber Signs & Print (“we”, “us”, “our”), company number 09288896, of 59 Gossoms End, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, HP4 1DF. By using this website or asking us to quote for or carry out work, you accept these terms.

This website

Content on this site — text, photos of our work and design — belongs to us or is used with permission, and is provided for general information only. You’re welcome to browse and share links to it, but you may not reproduce, copy or resell any part of it without our written permission. We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we can’t guarantee it’s free of errors, and we may change or remove content at any time without notice.

Quotes and prices

Any prices given on the website, by phone or by email are estimates and are subject to confirmation once we’ve seen full details of the job. Prices for our services may change at any time and don’t include VAT unless stated. A quote is not a contract until we’ve both agreed the scope of work and price for a specific job.

Placing an order

Once you accept a quote, we’ll agree timescales, any deposit required, and details of the artwork or specification with you before work begins. Please check any proofs, artwork or design carefully before approving them — once you’ve signed off a proof, we’ll produce the work to match it, and we’re not responsible for errors that were present in an approved proof.

Payment

Payment terms will be agreed with you when you place an order. Please make sure any billing or contact details you give us are accurate and kept up to date, and that invoices are paid by the agreed date.

Cancellations and changes

If you need to cancel or change an order, let us know as soon as possible. Because much of our work is made to order, we may charge for design time, materials or manufacturing already committed before you let us know.

Using the enquiry form

When you use the quote form on this site, please give accurate information and don’t use it to send unlawful, abusive or misleading content. We handle any information you submit in line with our privacy policy.

Liability

This website and its content are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we won’t be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for things that can’t be limited under English law, such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

Our site links to third-party sites such as Facebook, Instagram and Google Maps. We’re not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
